Limited Lines Credit Producers:
The Montana Insurance Continuing Education Program requires that producers with limited lines credit licenses take CE courses of the following types to fulfill their renewal CE requirements: ethics, legislative changes, and limited lines credit topics. Limited lines credit producers producers must complete 5 hours of CE within every two year period and at least one of these hours must address Montana legislative changes.
Producer licenses expire on the last day of the month prior to the producer's birthday month. For example, if a producer's birthday is April 20th, her license will expire on March 31st. Producers born in even years (1964, 1980) will renew their licenses in even years (2008) and producers born in odd years (1965, 1981) will renew their licenses in odd years (2009).
