The Montana Insurance Continuing Education Program requires licensed adjusters to complete 24 hours of CE within every two-year license period. Courses may address any topic approved for adjusters or producers but at least 1 hour of the total 24 hours must address Montana legislative changes and at least 3 hours must address the topic of ethics. Adjuster licenses expire on the last day of the month prior to the adjuster's birthday month. For example, if an adjuster's birthday is April 20th, her license will expire on March 31st. Adjusters born in even years (1964, 1980) will renew their licenses in even years (2008) and adjusters born in odd years (1965, 1981) will renew their licenses in odd years (2009). All approved adjuster AND producer courses fulfill the CE requirements. Please visit the state web site for details of the law: http://sao.state.mt.us/insurance/CElaw.pdf All the courses appearing on our schedule have been approved by the Montana Insurance Continuing Education Program for insurance adjusters.
